 新西兰林肯大学最新QS排名319,就去年排名上升24位

Lincoln University has risen to 319 in the new  QS World University rankings, a jump of 24 places from last year.

This puts it into the top 33 percent in the rankings for the first time, and QS estimates it is in the top 1.2 percent of universities in the world, from around 26,000 universities.

It tops the rankings in New Zealand for its teacher to student ratio, with nearly 13 academic staff per 100 students, well above the global median of 7.7 per 100 students.

The international student ratio, at 31.1 per 100 students also contributes strongly to the overall score, with the global median at 10.3.

The number of academic staff who have come to Lincoln from around the globe also helps the University score well, with the ratio of international staff per 100 faculty members at 38.6, compared to the global media of only 9.5 per 100.

This latest ranking means Lincoln has risen more than 160 places since it first entered the rankings in 2014.

QS earlier this year placed Lincoln in the top 50 in its world subject rankings in Agriculture and Forestry (39) and Hospitality and Leisure  Management (48).
